Tom vonNovak is a seasoned professional with extensive experience as a consultant and executive in business and corporate development spanning diverse industries. Prior to co-founding Cosmos Partners, Tom worked with large enterprise and growth companies both domestically and internationally. His many accomplishments include being appointed a member of a Trade Mission to the United Kingdom and Germany, being the keynote speaker at the European Business Council in Vienna, Austria, and facilitating the sale of a private company for $1.9 billion.
Tom has a Masters Degree from the University of San Francisco in Organizational Development and an undergraduate degree from the University of Bridgeport in Business and Psychology. He belongs to the Commonwealth Club, European Business Council, International Business Network and the International Speakers Bureau.

George Deriso is an experienced executive, entrepreneur and consultant who has worked with businesses of all sizes around the world. Prior to founding Cosmos Partners, George worked for Falcon Venture Partners, a Colorado private equity firm. Over his career, George has been instrumental as an executive or founder of 8 technology ventures. He also has worked in large multi-national companies, such as AT&T, Apple Computer and Gartner Group, providing him experience and insight that is meaningful across the full range of enterprises. He has lived and worked overseas, conducting business extensively throughout Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
George has a Masters from California State University in Instructional Technology and Multimedia and an undergraduate degree from California State University in Liberal Arts. He is an Advisor on the Boards of the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship and the Technology Transfer Office, both at the University of Colorado, a Director on the board of ETown, and advises new ventures and private equity investors around the world.
